Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shape Shifter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Logical (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shape Shifter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Psycho Logical's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Psycho Logical! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logical doesn't manage to clinch there - Shifter circles away.
Logical tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Shifter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Logical fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shifter avoids it really well and circles away. Shifter rushes Logical and presses him up against the cage. Shifter goes for a takedown in the clinch but Logical prevents it.
Shifter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Logical walks away with a smile on his face. Shifter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Logical dips to his left and cracks Shifter with an uppercut! Shifter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shape Shifter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shifter shoots in for a takedown but Logical shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Logical fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Shifter dives in and grabs Logical's left leg, looking for a takedown. Logical pushes down on Shifter's head and hops out. Logical shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shifter napping and manages to drive through into side control! Logical is looking to take a break and control but Shifter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shifter is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Logical scores with a couple of short elbows. An elbow from Logical crashes against the mat.
Shifter on the wrong end of some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shifter is trying to get back to half guard. Logical thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Logical is trying to get an arm triangle but Shifter is defending well. Shifter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Logical's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Logical is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shifter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Shifter regains half guard. Logical seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shifter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Shifter punching from the bottom.
Shifter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Shifter regains full guard. Nicely done. Logical pushing down on Shifter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Logical takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Logical lands a nice short elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Logical seems to be looking for submissions.
Shifter is trying to stand back up but Logical is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Logical is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shifter sees it coming and defends easily. Shifter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Shifter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Logical stacks Shifter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Logical! Logical wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shifter keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shifter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Logical wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Logical is looking to take a break and control but Shifter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shifter is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Logical off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Psycho Logical dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
No luck for Shifter with that takedown attempt. Logical is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shifter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Shifter is looking to clinch. Logical has a takedown stuffed. Logical slaps away a takedown attempt from Shifter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Shifter as Logical shoots in. Shape Shifter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psycho Logical.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shifter stuffs the takedown attempt from Logical. Logical gets slowly back to his feet. Logical fails with a takedown attempt. Logical closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shifter to the mat! Shifter manages to get full guard. Shifter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Logical manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shifter is pushing down on Logical's leg trying to pass to half guard. Logical is fighting to maintain full guard but Shifter has managed to sneak the leg through. Shifter wants to work for an arm triangle but Logical is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Shifter throwing shots but Logical is blocking nicely. Shifter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Logical's head. Shifter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shifter throws a strike but Logical avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Shifter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Logical is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shifter, into his guard. Shifter wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shifter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Shifter is looking for a triangle but Logical pushes his legs off easily.
Logical must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Logical forces his way into half guard. Shifter tries to roll over but Logical keeps him under control. Psycho Logical has got the better of the ground game so far. Logical seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shifter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Logical lands a nice short elbow. Logical is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Shifter is pressing down on Logical's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Logical avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shifter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Shifter keeping moving, preventing Logical from controlling successfully. Logical with a flurry of punches that miss. Shifter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Logical is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shifter. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Logical lands a decent elbow from side control. Shifter tries to bench press Logical off him but Logical keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Shape Shifter will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Logical tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shifter swivels and escapes. Logical tries to clinch but fails miserably and Shifter counters with a single leg into guard. Logical didn't expect that. Shifter landing with the ground and pound. Logical utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Logical trying to control the position.
Shifter wants to pass the guard but Logical is keeping the position. Shifter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Logical works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logical trying to keep a closed guard but Shifter is proving a slippery customer.
Shifter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Logical dives on top into guard. Shifter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shifter has his foot on Logical's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Logical works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Logical wants to control from the top but Shifter keeps moving. Shifter looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Logical passes into half guard.
Logical wants to take a breather but Shifter is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shifter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Shifter tries to roll over but Logical keeps him under control. Shifter wants to sweep but Logical has passed to side control! Logical lands a decent elbow from side control. Logical creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Logical working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Logical trying to control the action but Shifter is working from the bottom. Shifter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shifter sneaks back into half guard. Shifter looking for submissions off his back. Shifter is looking for a sweep. Logical is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shifter actively working from the bottom here. Logical prevents Shifter from improving his position. Logical is looking for a kimura here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Logical throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shape Shifter. I think Shifter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
