And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Gilmour!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmour looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Both fighters circling a little - Gilmour finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gilmour lands a leg kick that knocks Van Beethoven off balance momentarily.
Van Beethoven checks the leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Gilmour.
Van Beethoven tries to clinch but Gilmour is having none of it.
Gilmour throws a hook but Van Beethoven avoids it easily.
Van Beethoven throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gilmour does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gilmour cracks Van Beethoven with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Van Beethoven stuns Gilmour with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Gilmour darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Van Beethoven scores with a nice body kick.
Gilmour misses with a leg kick
and Van Beethoven makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Van Beethoven misses with a hook. Gilmour ducked under it nicely.
Van Beethoven keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A jab lands there for Gilmour.
Gilmour on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Van Beethoven . Van Beethoven obviously looking to wear him down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Beethoven throws a chopping leg kick but Gilmour manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Van Beethoven cracks Gilmour with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gilmour looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Van Beethoven finish him?


It looks like David Gilmour has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Van Beethoven throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gilmour leaves his chin hanging out and Van Beethoven seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Gilmour crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
