Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gregory House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Loki Njord! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! House scores with a jab to the head.
House throws a leg kick but Njord checks it. A jab lands there for House.
Njord is rocked! House connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Njord tries to keep at a distance but House has taken the fight into the clinch. House works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
This has been an exciting period of action! House blocks a punch to the side of the head.
House working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Njord's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. House is looking to clinch but Njord is avoiding it.
House throws an overhand right that lands on Njord's shoulder, as Njord tries to avoid the shot. House throws a right hand that misses
and Njord counters with a stiff right hand. House moves into the clinch. House with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
House is leaning against Njord and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Good anti-grappling being displayed by House as Njord tries to tie him up.
That's one minute gone in the round. House working some nice short punches in the clinch. House lands a hook that snaps the head of Njord backwards. A shot in the inside from House. Njord has had enough of the clinch but House keeps him there for the moment. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Njord wants to get back to striking at distance but House won't allow it.

Can House finish him? Njord working hard to break the clinch. Njord lands with a short shot to the head. Njord seems to have recovered his senses. House is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. A right hand to the body from House.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! House tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Njord avoids it. House lands with a light punch inside. Good anti-grappling being displayed by House as Njord tries to tie him up. House lands a nice elbow. A short left from House. House landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Njord tries to break free but House pushes him back against the cage. House scores a nice knee to the body.
A short right from House on the inside. House throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Njords head. House lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. House lands with a left to the head. House jerks Njord's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Njord drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! House goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from House because Njord was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
