Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Tayber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Defying Gravity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tayber kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Terravita - Adult Robot Kung Fu. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravity fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gravity goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Jebidiah Tayber has been cut.
Tayber swings for the body but Gravity moves out of range.
Tayber throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Good leg kick by Tayber there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tayber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gravity.
Gravity looks to land a left hand but Tayber moved out of range nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gravity punishes Tayber's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gravity. Tayber does a little dance to reset his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tayber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gravity leaves Tayber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gravity takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gravity throws a shot from downtown. Tayber moves away and avoids it.

Gravity throws the left hand but Tayber avoids the punch easily.

and Tayber counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Gravity shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tayber eats them both and turns towards Gravity to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Gravity counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jebidiah Tayber.
I think Gravity has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
