Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi comes to the cage accompanied by Slaap lekker!. Kong has chosen ไรซิงซัน as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Qing Kong!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi is looking to clinch.
Kong tries to land a front kick but Gomi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gomi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gomi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kong connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gomi scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kenny Gomi.
I think Gomi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
