Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jiri Ahokas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Spanket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahokas comes to the cage accompanied by Invincible Adelitas Way. Jiri Ahokas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jiri Ahokas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scott Spanket! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahokas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spanket. Ahokas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spanket misses with a looping left. A swing and a miss from Spanket. Spanket throws a right and a left that both miss. Ahokas throws a head kick but Spanket moves out of range.
Ahokas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Spanket gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ahokas with a nice head shot there. Spanket looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Spanket tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ahokas won't allow Spanket to get back to his feet. Spanket looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ahokas is one step ahead there. Ahokas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ahokas with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ahokas tries to free his leg and advance position but Spanket is retaining full guard. Spanket preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Spanket misses with a hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ahokas looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Spanket steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ahokas. That one must have hurt. Horrible takedown by Ahokas or perhaps it was just good defense by Spanket which made him look bad. A head kick misses from Ahokas. Ahokas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Ahokas throws a right and a left that Spanket avoids nicely. Ahokas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spanket misses with a straight right. Ahokas moves into range and clinches up with Spanket. Ahokas has Spanket pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Spanket manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ahokas is breathing heavily. Ahokas keeps control of Spanket as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Spanket stops a takedown attempt from Ahokas.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiri Ahokas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Spanket can't break the clinch.
Spanket blocks the elbow strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ahokas tries to land a knee to the head but Spanket blocks with his arms.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ahokas just misses with a elbow thrown towards Spanket's brow. Ahokas is working for takedown but Spanket is calmly controlling the position for now. Ahokas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spanket smiles and moves away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Ahokas tries to land a knee to the head but Spanket blocks with his arms.
Spanket wants to get back to striking at distance but Ahokas won't allow it.
Spanket lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ahokas backwards. Spanket is looking to break free of the clinch but Ahokas has double underhooks. Spanket on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Spanket dodges an elbow strike from Ahokas.
Spanket wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ahokas fails to pull guard.
Spanket is looking to break free of the clinch but Ahokas has double underhooks. Ahokas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spanket smiles and moves away.
Spanket darts in and clinches Ahokas up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ahokas misses with an elbow strike.
Spanket wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ahokas has him pressed against the cage. Ahokas tries to pull guard but Spanket holds him up against the cage and eventually Ahokas drops back down to his feet.
Ahokas creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Ahokas misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Spanket.
Ahokas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Spanket fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ahokas fails with a takedown attempt. Spanket connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ahokas's hands. Spanket closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ahokas is rocked! Ahokas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Oh Ahokas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ahokas tries to keep at a distance but Spanket has taken the fight into the clinch. Ahokas seems to have got his legs back now. Ahokas with a knee to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ahokas lands a knee to the head.
Ahokas pulls guard effortlessly. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ahokas looking for a guillotine here but Spanket defends easily.
Spanket stopping the sweep attempt from Ahokas. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ahokas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ahokas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ahokas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Spanket is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ahokas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Spanket's back instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spanket defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Ahokas is working the ground and pound. Can Spanket escape? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jiri Ahokas dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Spanket throws a combination that misses and Ahokas counters with a good, hard body kick but Spanket shrugs it off. Ahokas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Spanket tries to roll over but Ahokas keeps him under control. Ahokas is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ahokas works his way into full mount! Spanket tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ahokas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Spanket looks a forlorn figure.
Ahokas is landing with some decent strikes but Spanket is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ahokas scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ahokas breaks from Spanket's wrist control and lands an elbow. Spanket squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Ahokas with the ground and pound from mount. Spanket wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Spanket showing good submission defense here.
Ahokas working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Ahokas throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Ahokas softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Spanket is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spanket is trying to defend against the choke here but Ahokas has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Ahokas Tightens the hold and Spanket taps out furiously! Ahokas displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
