Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buri Grimnir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kickin Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rad has chosen Kids Of The K-Hole as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buri Grimnir! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kickin Rad! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grimnir lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Rad tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Grimnir manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Grimnir blocks a leg kick. Grimnir throws the left hand but Rad avoids the punch easily. Rad looks to land a body kick but Grimnir moved away. The fighters circling - Grimnir throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Grimnir checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Rad checks a low kick from Grimnir. Rad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A head kick by Rad misses and Grimnir counters with a thumping low kick. Grimnir throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Grimnir lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rad takes a step back to recover. Rad looks winded! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grimnir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rad avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grimnir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grimnir trying to control but Rad is working from the bottom. Grimnir lands a couple of elbows. Rad avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Grimnir drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rad manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Grimnir has Rad in his guard. Rad trying to control the position from guard on top but Grimnir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grimnir is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grimnir wants to sweep here but Rad controlling him for the moment. Grimnir not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Grimnir is trying to control the position but Rad postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rad throwing strikes from guard but Grimnir blocks nicely. Rad is looking to work some ground and pound but Grimnir has wrist control. Grimnir controls Rad momentarily but Rad frees himself. Grimnir looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Buri Grimnir has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Rad tried to score with a low kick but Grimnir checks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grimnir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rad throws out the jab. Grimnir throws out a loose jab but Rad uses good head movement to avoid it. Rad misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grimnir.
Kickin Rad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Grimnir checks a low kick from Rad. Rad cracks Grimnir with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Grimnir misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rad.
Grimnir lands with a nice body punch. Rad looks for the body kick but Grimnir saw that one coming. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Grimnir misses with a body shot
and Rad counters with an outside leg kick.
Grimnir jabbing away but nothing is landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rad wants to clinch up but Grimnir keeps it at a distance. Rad throws a body punch but Grimnir moves out of range. Rad takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buri Grimnir dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rad misses with a low kick. Grimnir lands a nice looking body shot.
Buri Grimnir is winning the standup battle so far. Grimnir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rad.
Grimnir works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Grimnir. Rad shrugs it off though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rad waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Grimnir. Rad looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Grimnir closes the distance and clinches up with Rad, looking for a takedown. Grimnir pushes Rad against the cage but Rad circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Donk. Grimnir catches Rad right on the button with a cross. Rad takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rad tries to clinch but Grimnir moves out of range. Grimnir cracks Rad with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rad walks into a stiff left hand from Grimnir. Grimnir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rad. That one must have hurt. Rad looks up at the clock. Bad move! Grimnir lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rad. Grimnir pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buri Grimnir! Buri Grimnir retains his heavyweight title! A relieved looking Buri Grimnir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
