Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merrick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes into the arena with Blood Sugar - Pendulum blaring out of the sound system. Leroy Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown scores with a punch to the head.
Kane tries to move into range but Brown moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brown keeps the fight on the outside.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kane.
Kane takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Brown looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kane takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Brown takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Leroy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane lands a really nice looking cross but Brown seems unphased.
Kane swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Kane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kane throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off.
Good work by Kane as he checks the leg kick.
Brown fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kane is out of range.

Kane pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Brown lands a right hook to the body.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brown blocks the body kick.
Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kane stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kane tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brown does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kane at a distance.

Kane on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Leroy Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brown lands a head shot.

Brown lands with a good body shot.

Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kane sprawling to the canvas! Kane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brown finish him?!
Kane is rocked!
Brown lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Kane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kane seems to have got his legs back now.
BOOM! Brown lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kane. Kane tries to recover but Brown is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kane lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
