The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruty throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Palhares is stalling here. Kruty is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Palhares seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kruty has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Palhares has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kruty is working away from the top position though.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kruty throws out a loose jab but Palhares uses good head movement to avoid it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jozka Kruty will probably get the nod.

Kruty throws the kick towards the body but Palhares avoids it.

Palhares's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kruty connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Palhares scrambles back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Pluto Palhares.
