Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Cardosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Virgil Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardosa comes to the cage accompanied by Pennywise - Bro Hymn. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardosa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cardosa is stalling here. Morgan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cardosa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Morgan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Morgan connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cardosa some visible discomfort.
Cardosa wants to control but Morgan postures up.
Cardosa is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cardosa keeps working.
Cardosa parries the strikes from Morgan easily there. Morgan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cardosa to escape.

Morgan passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cardosa!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A nice elbow there by Morgan.
Morgan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Cardosa is rocked!
Cardosa is trying to escape the mount.
Oh Cardosa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cardosa tries to lock up and control but Morgan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Morgan unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Cardosa wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Morgan celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Virgil Morgan!
A relieved looking Virgil Morgan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
