21 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Creed! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Abbott misses its intended target. Abbott misses with a wild body shot. Abbott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Creed swats him away and circles back towards the center. Creed connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like David Abbott has been cut. Abbott on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Creed throws a solid leg kick but Abbott takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Creed. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Creed. Creed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Creed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Abbott avoids the head kick by Creed.
Creed tries to clinch up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Creed throws a right and a left that Abbott avoids nicely. Abbott lands a slapping body shot.

Creed cracks Abbott with a right hand to the side of the head. Creed throws a sloppy head kick and Abbott moves out of range easily. Abbott pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Creed back to the cage. Abbott follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

A low kick from Creed is predictable there and Abbott counters with a solid body kick. A big left from Abbott misses. Abbott is looking to chop away at Creed's legs. Abbott clinches with his opponent.

Creed lands a nice uppercut. Creed misses with a short punch on the inside. Abbott doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Creed lands a left hand that snaps the head of Abbott backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Creed. Creed lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abbott backwards. Creed scores with a shot to the side of Abbott's head.

Abbott tries to throw a body punch but Creed avoids it by throwing Abbott back against the cage. Abbott throws a head punch that misses. Creed lands with a light punch inside. Abbott misses with some punches.
Abbott lands a right hand that snaps the head of Creed backwards. Abbott swings away with an uppercut that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Creed lands a body shot in the clinch.
Creed scores with a shoulder strike. Creed lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Creed lands a nice shot to the body. Abbott is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Creed lands a body punch in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Creed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Creed struggles to land a body shot inside as Abbott controls his hands.

David Abbott's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Creed dips a shoulder and cracks Abbott with a mighty uppercut! Abbott falls back against the cage and Creed unloads with a barrage of strikes! Abbott is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Creed screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Creed! Victor Creed is the new heavyweight champion! Victor Creed took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'How dare these buums challenge me with their primitive skills? It makes me angry. Theyre just as good as dead. My power is discombobulatingly devastating I could feel is muscle tissues collapse under my force. Its ludicrous these mortals even attempt to enter my realm.'.
