Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genki Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prong - Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Genki Dama!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dawkins checks a leg kick.
Dawkins throws the kick towards the body but Dama avoids it.
Dawkins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dawkins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dama has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dama and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dama takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dama takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dama swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dawkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dama.
Dawkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some bone on bone action there as Dama checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dawkins misses with a wild combination.
Dawkins wants to slow Dama down by chopping away at his legs.
Dawkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dama.
Dama ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dawkins moves away.
Dama throws a leg kick but Dawkins checks it.

Dama throws a head kick that misses.
Dama is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dawkins.
Dawkins lands a nice hook to Dama's body. Dama takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dama looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dawkins!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dawkins is trying to control Dama's posture but Dama avoids it.
Dama tries to score with some ground and pound. Dawkins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Dama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dawkins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dama wants to control but Dawkins is keeping him busy.
Dawkins tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dama presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Dama lands a heavy elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawkins is working to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dawkins is bucking up trying to escape but Dama cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dama landing strikes, looking to finish!
Dawkins wants to hold on but Dama pushes him away.

Dama is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dawkins can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

A relieved looking Genki Dama thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
