Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Els (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varz Defoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Els might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cassidy - Wake Up. Defoe has chosen Bodies as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Defoe throws a push kick but Els slaps the foot to one side.
Els with a jab.
Els throws a lazy body kick
and Defoe counters with a low kick, right behind Els 's knee.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Els.
Defoe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Els looks to score with a jab to the body but Defoe is just out of range.
A jab from Els finds it's way through Defoe's defenses.
It looks like Varz Defoe has been cut.
Els misses with the body kick
and Defoe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Els slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Defoe walks into a jab.
Els lands a brutal head kick. Defoe looks out on his feet and Els throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ernie Els tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
