Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sang Eek Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyypia has chosen Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana as his entrance music. Sami Hyypia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sang Eek Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Hyypia! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Moon cracks the inside of Hyypia's front leg. Hyypia blocks a head kick by Moon.
Moon lands a front kick. Sang Eek Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moon slips a straight right by Hyypia. Hyypia swats away the attempt to clinch by Moon. Moon moves out of range of the strikes. Moon avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A jab from Moon finds it's way through Hyypia's defenses. A telegraphed right hand from Hyypia misses the target. Moon thows a leg kick but Hyypia checks it and Hyypia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hyypia lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hyypia fakes the leg kick and cracks Moon in the body. Hyypia tries to land a leg kick but Moon saw it coming and moves away.
Hyypia throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moon on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Hyypia checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Moon slips under a jab. Hyypia misses with a straight right. Hyypia stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Moon. Hyypia tries to clinch but Moon moves out of range. Hyypia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Moon sees it coming and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Moon. Hyypia does a little dance to reset his feet. Hyypia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moon. A decent looking cross lands there for Moon. Hyypia throws a jab when Moon was well out of range. A low kick from Moon misses and Hyypia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A head kick from Moon lands but Hyypia takes it in his stride. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hyypia takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moon is looking to land body kicks. Moon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hyypia. Moon takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hyypia throws a lazy right hand but Moon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Moon throws out a loose jab but Hyypia uses good head movement to avoid it. Moon swings for the body but Hyypia moves out of range.
Moon throws a head kick that misses and Hyypia counters with an inside leg kick. A slow jab from Moon misses its intended target. Moon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jab by Moon. Hyypia lands a lovely overhand right. Crunch! Moon slams his shin into Hyypia's torso. Moon motions for Hyypia to come forward. Moon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hyypia. Some wild striking there from Hyypia.
Hyypia looks to throw the jab but Moon is out of range. Nice uppercut there from Moon. Moon throws a leg kick and Hyypia counters with a thumping low kick. Hyypia misses with an uppercut. Moon saw that one coming. Moon throws a leg kick which misses Hyypia's front leg but catches the back leg as Hyypia tries to avoid it. Moon scores with a leg kick.
Hyypia listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Moon swings for the body but Hyypia moves out of range.
Hyypia throws a low kick, looking for Moon's leg but Moon calmly moves out of range. Moon moves away from the strike by Hyypia. Moon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hyypia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hyypia misses with a body shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Hyypia as he connects with a hook. Moon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hyypia walks into a jab. Hyypia throws a shot to the body.
Moon loads up on a big right hand but Hyypia slips the punch. Moon misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hyypia looks to land a right hand but Moon moved out of range. Moon throws a looping overhand right but Hyypia ducks down to avoid it. Hyypia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A slapping leg kick lands for Moon.
Hyypia misses with an uppercut. Moon saw that one coming. Hyypia lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sang Eek Moon will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hyypia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hyypia takes one to the chin there. Hyypia drops Moon with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hyypia follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sami Hyypia! Sami Hyypia very nearly forgot to thank DJs Locker amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
