Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musashi Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remember the Name. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 41 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Rutecki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Musashi Kato! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rutecki walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kato. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rutecki takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rutecki throws a head kick but Kato moves out of range.
Rutecki misses with a wild combination.
Kato throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kato defending well as Rutecki loads up on a big left hand. Kato slips a straight right by Rutecki. Rutecki throws a hook to the side of Kato's head but Kato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rutecki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rutecki ducks right into an uppercut from Kato. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kato scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Dexter Rutecki has been cut. Kato digs a good body shot into Rutecki's ribs. A solid leg kick lands there for Kato.
Musashi Kato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A kick lands to the mid section there for Kato. Rutecki is breathing heavily. Kato works the jab nicely. Kato lands with a cross. Kato scores with a leg kick.
Kato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rutecki. Kato pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rutecki back to the cage. Kato follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rutecki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rutecki is rocked! Kato fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Rutecki to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Rutecki looks to clinch but Kato throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Rutecki taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Musashi Kato! Musashi Kato seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
