Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dat Sik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humberto Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen Deja Vu as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dat Sik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 4, fighting out of London, Humberto Cruz! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sik throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cruz's head. Sik throws a hook but Cruz blocks it. Sik looks to score with a jab to the body but Cruz is just out of range. Cruz misses with a hook. Sik lands with a shot to the body. Sik gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cruz to score an easy takedown into full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Sik looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cruz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cruz has managed to get both his arms back between Sik's legs - danger averted. Sik is looking for a triangle but Cruz pushes his legs off easily.
Cruz chips away with some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cruz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sik working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cruz. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cruz wants to control from the top but Sik keeps moving. Sik looking for a guillotine here but Cruz defends easily.
Sik keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully. Sik has his hands on Cruz's head, controlling the position. Sik is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sik looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cruz puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Sik won't allow Cruz to pass to mount. Cruz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sik! Sik tries to improve his position but instead Cruz has taken his back! Sik tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Cruz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cruz throwing strikes here but Sik is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cruz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cruz fails to advance to Sik's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cruz prevents Sik from getting the reversal. Sik is squirming around, avoiding Cruz's attempts to control the action. Sik is controlling an arm, preventing Cruz from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Sik bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sik throwing strikes from guard but Cruz blocks nicely. Cruz working a defensive guard but Sik passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cruz is not content to let Sik control the position. Sik is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cruz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cruz tries to kick Sik off but Sik keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sik looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dat Sik. Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown. Sik tries to sprawl out of it but Cruz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Humberto Cruz will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Dat Sik has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sik throws the left hand but Cruz avoids the punch easily. Sik tries to sprawl but Cruz drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cruz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sik keeps working. Humberto Cruz has got the better of the ground game so far. Sik makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sik. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sik is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cruz is controlling him. Sik keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully.

Humberto Cruz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Sik ducks under a wild hook from Cruz. Sik looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A leg kick checked by Cruz. Sik misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cruz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cruz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sik takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Sik throws a leg kick that is checked and Cruz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cruz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sik. Cruz pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cruz slips a jab and a cross from Sik.
Humberto Cruz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cruz lands a lovely overhand right. Sik thows a body shot but no joy. A clash of legs there as Cruz blocks the low kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sik showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cruz.

and Cruz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sik thinking. Cruz looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cruz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sik. Cruz looks to throw a body kick letting Sik counter with a right hand. Sik loads up on a big right hand but Cruz slips the punch. Humberto Cruz seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sik throws a lazy uppercut
and Cruz counters with a thumping low kick. Sik throws a leg kick which misses Cruz's front leg but catches the back leg as Cruz tries to avoid it. Cruz fakes the leg kick and cracks Sik in the body. Cruz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sik. Cruz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sik. Cruz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sik looks for the body kick but Cruz saw that one coming. Sik punishes Cruz's body with a nice straight punch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sik throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sik connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Sik misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cruz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Cruz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Humberto Cruz. I think Cruz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
