Svetnela throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tyminski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tyminski's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Lukasz Tyminski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyminski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Svetnela was well out of range. Poor timing from Tyminski.
Tyminski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Svetnela manages to avoid it.
Tyminski tries to clinch but Svetnela is having none of it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tyminski.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tyminski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Svetnela - the referee stops the clock and Tyminski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Svetnela. Tyminski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Svetnela is looking to wear down Tyminski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tyminski checks a leg kick.
Tyminski punishes Svetnela's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Svetnela's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tyminski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Svetnela scrambles back to his feet.
Svetnela swats away the attempt to clinch by Tyminski.
Svetnela throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tyminski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Svetnela finds it's way round the side to connect with Tyminski's head.
Svetnela lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tyminski. Svetnela does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd cheers as Svetnela lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tyminski doesn't seem phased though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Svetnela bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Svetnela weaves into range and cracks Tyminski right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Tyminski goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Svetnela is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

In his post fight interview, Igor Svetnela gave a big smile as he said 'Good people of Los Angeles, I am happy to be here in Ascension fighting for all of you. At 37 years old, the Dominion of St. Pete is alive and well.'.
