Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medorn throws a head kick that misses.
Alves throws and low kick but Medorn moves out of range easily.
Alves throws a head kick that Medorn semi-blocks.
It looks like Arnold Medorn has been cut.
Medorn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alves looking to control.
Medorn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alves's guard.
Alves tries to kick Medorn off but Medorn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Medorn is working for a kimura but Alves is defending it quite comfortably.
Medorn seems to be looking for submissions.
Medorn trying to pass the guard but Alves defending well.
Medorn is trying to control the action in half guard but Alves is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Alves avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Medorn.
Medorn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Alves tries to get to full guard but Medorn has control of the leg.
Alves wants to control but Medorn is keeping busy.
Alves won't allow Medorn to pass to mount.
Medorn is thwarting Alves's attempts to control the position.
Medorn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Alves defends it well.
Medorn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alves does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Medorn tries to clinch but Alves moves out of range.
Alves stuffs the takedown attempt from Medorn. Medorn gets slowly back to his feet.
Medorn tries for a takedown but Alves sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Medorn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Alves tries a head kick but it misses.
Alves throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Medorn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alves swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alves avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alves connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Medorn is breathing heavily.
Alves throws a head kick that misses.
Medorn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Alves. That one must have hurt.
Goncalo Alves is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alves scores with a hook.
Alves lands a big uppercut and Medorn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Medorn looks OK. Alves waves Medorn back to his feet!
Medorn is rocked!
Arnold Medorn's cut is getting worse.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Alves throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Medorn is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
