Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josip Ruzic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruzic comes to the cage accompanied by Kid N Play - Gettin' Funky. Tosh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stepping Razor. Peter Tosh is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
33 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josip Ruzic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Tosh!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosh on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Josip Ruzic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruzic is looking to chop away at Tosh's legs.
Ruzic fails with the takedown
and Tosh counters with a nice body shot.
Ruzic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ruzic lands a glancing blow to the side of Tosh's head.
Ruzic misses with a head kick.
Tosh feints and then cracks Ruzic's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruzic down.
Ruzic tries a low kick but Tosh avoids it.
Tosh tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ruzic throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tosh slips a straight right by Ruzic.
Tosh scores with a sloppy right hand. Ruzic should have avoided that one.

Ruzic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tosh gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ruzic is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tosh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ruzic defends it well.
Tosh is nestled in close to Ruzic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tosh is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ruzic reverses the position - he's now on top in Tosh's guard.
Tosh wants to sweep but no luck.

Tosh has his foot on Ruzic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ruzic works his way back into a safe position though.
Tosh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ruzic postures up and lands a big shot to Tosh's brow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tosh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ruzic stacks Tosh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ruzic!
Ruzic trying to control the position but Tosh is working away.
Ruzic works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
An elbow from Ruzic crashes against the mat.
Tosh is looking to reverse the position.
Ruzic throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tosh works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Ruzic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ruzic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Ruzic thows a huge punch but Tosh dodges it nicely.
Ruzic is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tosh has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tosh is looking to get back to full guard here but Ruzic has managed to pass to side control instead.
Ruzic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tosh tries to buck Ruzic off but Ruzic is having none of it.
Ruzic laying and praying for a moment but Tosh takes advantage and regains half guard.
Tosh regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruzic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tosh works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tosh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tosh controls Ruzic momentarily but Ruzic frees himself.
Ruzic trying to control but Tosh is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tosh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ruzic defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruzic postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Tosh will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ruzic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tosh on the side of the head.
Ruzic takes a swing at Tosh's ribcage but misses.
Ruzic closes the distance and clinches up with Tosh, looking for a takedown. Ruzic pushes Tosh against the cage but Tosh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ruzic thows a leg kick but Tosh checks it
and Tosh counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tosh stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Ruzic throws up his legs and catches Tosh in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tosh tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Ruzic! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Josip Ruzic!
After winning the bout, Josip Ruzic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
