Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes into the arena with Freak On A Leash blaring out of the sound system. Nolan has chosen Down - Stone the Crow as his entrance music. Christian Nolan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Christian Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nolan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Steele's sensitive parts.
Steele throws a nice inside leg kick.
Steele tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nolan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Steele takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Steele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nolan manages to avoid it.
Steele throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nolan's head.


It looks like Christian Nolan has been cut.
Steele throws a big shot that misses.
Steele misses with a body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steele connects with a solid leg kick.
Nolan scores with a hook to the body. Steele takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Steele throws a hook to the side of Nolan's head but Nolan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nolan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Steele.
Steele throws out a leg kick but Nolan moves out of range and Steele only half commits.
Steele swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nolan finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
George Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nolan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A lazy body kick from Steele
and Nolan counters with a low kick, right behind Steele 's knee.
Steele fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nolan is out of range.
Steele tries to land a front kick but Nolan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nolan scores with the left hand. Steele knows he should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!

enabling Nolan to counter with a crisp jab.

Steele throws a series of punches but Nolan moves out of range.
Steele throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Nolan checks a low kick from Steele.
Steele misses with the body kick

and Nolan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Nolan wants to pass to mount but Steele is defending the position.
Nolan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Nolan thows a huge punch but Steele dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steele wants to get back to his feet.
Nolan missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Nolan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nolan thows a huge punch but Steele dodges it nicely.
Steele pushes Nolan off looking to stand but Nolan dives back in and keeps control.
Nolan is pressing down on Steele's thigh, looking to free his foot. Steele is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nolan is working for a kimura but Steele is defending it quite comfortably.

Nolan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steele doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nolan.

Nolan is looking to advance position but Steele won't allow it.

Steele tries to kick Nolan off but Nolan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Nolan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nolan stops Steele from getting back to his feet.
Steele scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nolan manages to mount him!

Nolan trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Nolan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Nolan won't let Steele get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Nolan lands with some strikes.
Steele really wants to buck Nolan off and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steele is squirming around, avoiding Nolan's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Steele really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nolan scoring with strikes but Steele is staying in there.

Nolan circles away from the clinch attempt.
BAM! Nolan delivers a spinning backfist that drops Steele like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
