Hunt comes to the cage accompanied by Comfortably Numb. Black has chosen Dr Dre - The Next Episode as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black jabs Hunt to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Henry Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black sizes up Hunt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice shot by Black.
Black thows a body shot but no joy.
Hunt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Black's sensitive parts.
Black displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hunt.
Hunt looks for the body kick but Black saw that one coming.
Hunt scoring well with a low kick there.
Hunt motions for Black to come forward. Hunt throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Black darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Hunt counters with a shoot takedown. Black fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Hunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunt has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.
Hunt lands a couple of elbows.

Black has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hunt is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Black.
Hunt tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Hunt works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hunt sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Black is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hunt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hunt scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Black to see if he's OK.

Black takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hunt connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Black some visible discomfort.

Black on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Black is trying to control Hunt's posture but Hunt avoids it.
Black is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
