Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Narushima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Stapleton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryo Narushima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Stapleton!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narushima tries a head kick but it misses.
Stapleton blocks a head kick by Narushima.
Stapleton lands with a good body shot.
Narushima throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Narushima will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Narushima takes one to the side of the head.
Narushima lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stapleton tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Narushima throws a head kick but Stapleton moves out of range.
Narushima lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A clash of legs there as Narushima blocks the low kick.
An inside leg kick from Narushima misses.
Narushima lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ryo Narushima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stapleton avoids the head kick by Narushima.
Narushima feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stapleton's calf.
Narushima lands a head kick!
It looks like Jeremy Stapleton has been cut.
Stapleton looks to score with a jab to the body but Narushima is just out of range.
Stapleton blocks a head kick by Narushima.
Stapleton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stapleton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Narushima moves away.
Narushima thows a left - swing and a miss!
Narushima misses with a leg kick.
Narushima throws a quick inside leg kick.
A head kick lands from Narushima that sends Stapleton to the canvas. Stapleton tries to scramble back to his feet but Narushima brings him back down into side control.
Stapleton is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Narushima tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Stapleton is still in real trouble! Can Narushima finish him?
Stapleton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Narushima. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Narushima is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stapleton has escaped the position, nice work there.
Narushima wants to stand but Stapleton is controlling his arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stapleton seems to have recovered his senses.
Stapleton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Stapleton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stapleton is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Narushima is staying active.
Stapleton is looking for a sweep.
Stapleton holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jeremy Stapleton.
A low kick from Narushima is predictable there
letting Stapleton counter with a right hand.
Narushima lands a brutal head kick. Stapleton looks out on his feet and Narushima throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
