Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jurmas Uusisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tunjic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uusisto's entrance music is System Of A Down - B.Y.O.B.. A fine choice. Tunjic has chosen More then a Feeling as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurmas Uusisto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Tunjic!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tunjic throws the kick towards the body but Uusisto avoids it.
Uusisto walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tunjic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Uusisto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Uusisto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tunjic!
Tunjic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Uusisto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Uusisto fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Tunjic can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uusisto scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tunjic looking for a sweep but Uusisto has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Uusisto trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Tunjic is looking to get to half guard.

Tunjic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Uusisto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tunjic defends well.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tunjic accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Uusisto wants to improve his position but instead Tunjic has moved into half guard.
Uusisto is looking for a sweep. Tunjic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Uusisto works his way to full guard. Good work.

Uusisto throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tunjic uses it to pass to side control.

Tunjic is thwarting Uusisto's attempts to control the position.
Tunjic is stalling here. Uusisto is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tunjic seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Uusisto has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tunjic is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Uusisto off and has taken his back!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Uusisto checks a leg kick.

Tunjic bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Uusisto lands a really nice looking cross but Tunjic seems unphased.
Uusisto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tunjic.

and Uusisto counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tunjic cracks Uusisto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ivan Tunjic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uusisto tries to work over Tunjic's front leg with a kick but Tunjic checks it.
Uusisto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Uusisto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Uusisto lands a nice hook to Tunjic's body. Tunjic takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Uusisto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Tunjic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Tunjic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Uusisto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tunjic is in Uusisto's guard.

Tunjic breaks from Uusisto's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Tunjic lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Uusisto tries to hold on but Tunjic pushes him away.
Tunjic looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tunjic jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Uusisto manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ivan Tunjic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Uusisto has his foot on Tunjic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tunjic works his way back into a safe position though.

Uusisto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
