Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Punani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry comes to the cage accompanied by Run For Cover. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Perry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Punani!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Punani. That did some damage!
Perry moves out of range of the body kick.
Punani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Punani misses with a head kick.
Punani misses with a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Punani misses the target.
Perry bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Punani's head.
Perry tests Punani's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Punani ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perry moves away.
Perry ducks under a wild hook from Punani.
Perry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Punani has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Perry will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Perry avoids the body shot from Punani.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry connects with a right hand. Punani shakes it off.
Punani darts in trying to clinch

and Perry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Perry with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Punani is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Perry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Punani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Perry manages to get himself to full guard.
Punani throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Punani postures up.
Perry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Punani wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position.
Perry keeping moving, preventing Punani from controlling successfully.

Punani is sitting in close to Perry's body. Perry has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Punani is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Punani is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Perry.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Lee Perry!
Lee Perry decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
