The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spoakin lands with a nice body kick.
Spoakin blocks the body kick.
Paulsen moves forwards but Spoakin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Paulsen looks to throw the jab but Spoakin is out of range.
Paulsen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A swing and a miss from Spoakin.
An inside leg kick lands from Paulsen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paulsen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spoakin jabs Paulsen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Paulsen.
Paulsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spoakin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Paulsen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spoakin.
Spoakin moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Paulsen is breathing heavily.
Spoakin misses with a straight left.
Paulsen looks to land a left hand but Spoakin moved out of range nicely.
Spoakin lands a jab-cross combination.
Spoakin misses with a looping left.
Paulsen tries to clinch up but Spoakin circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paulsen tries to land a leg kick but Spoakin saw it coming and moves away.
Eulogy Spoakin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulsen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Jab, jab by Spoakin - just one landing.
Spoakin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Spoakin works over Paulsen's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spoakin tries to bum rush Paulsen with a series of wild strikes but Paulsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spoakin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Spoakin closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Paulsen out cold! Paulsen corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
