The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suu Kyi misses with a low kick. Hamfist misses with a double jab.
Good exchange - Suu Kyi coming out on top. Nice straight punches there by Suu Kyi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Suu Kyi. Hamfist shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Suu Kyi defends it nicely. Hamfist thows a left - swing and a miss! Hamfist lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Suu Kyi circles away quickly and effectively. Hamfist on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Suu Kyi throws a push kick but Hamfist slaps the foot to one side. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Suu Kyi lands with an overhand left. Good leg kick by Suu Kyi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hamfist fails to land with a series of punches.
Suu Kyi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hamfist. Suu Kyi lands a body shot.
Hamfist looks winded! Hamfist stalks Suu Kyi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suu Kyi's face. Suu Kyi staggers backwards, shaken. Some wild striking there from Hamfist.

Suu Kyi connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hamfist's face.
Suu Kyi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hamfist is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Suu Kyi. Hamfist is still on wobbly legs! Can Suu Kyi finish him? Clinched against the cage, Suu Kyi lands a big elbow that drops Hamfist! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Hamfist is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aung San Suu Kyi! A very excited looking Aung San Suu Kyi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
