Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jase Newson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by CUZ I GOT HIGH. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Jase Newson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newson lands a jab to Stone's midsection. Newson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Newson misses the shot to the body. Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Newson dips to his left and cracks Stone with an uppercut! Newson misses with a hook
and Stone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stone. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stone's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Stone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stone is looking to work some ground and pound but Newson has wrist control. Newson seems keen to control Stone's posture. Stone wants to pass the guard but Newson is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone being controlled here momentarily. Stone preventing the sweep. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Newson is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone postures up in Newson's guard and throws a big left but Newson blocks it. Stone looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Newson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jase Newson wasn't active enough on the ground. Stone defending well as Newson loads up on a big left hand. Newson stuns Stone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Newson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Newson tries to land a front kick but Stone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stone avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stone throws a jab when Newson was well out of range. Stone blocks a leg kick. Newson misses with a kick to the body and Stone counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stone. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Newson seems keen to control Stone's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newson wants to get back to his feet but Stone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Stone cracks Newson with a solid left hand. Newson keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully. Newson looking to control.
Stone is pushing down on Newson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Newson is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through. Stone is keen to just control but Newson is a slippery customer. Stone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stone stalling away here and it's allowed Newson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to pass the guard but Newson is keeping the position. Newson is pulling down on Stone's head to control his posture. Stone trying to control but Newson is working from the bottom. Stone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Newson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Newson swings for the body but Stone moves out of range.
Newson lands a leg kick that knocks Stone off balance momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ben Stone will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Newson swivels and escapes. A low kick from Newson misses and Stone counters with a single leg into guard. Newson didn't expect that. Newson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stone trying to control but Newson is working from the bottom. Stone preventing the sweep. Stone is in close to Newson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Newson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Newson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stone's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Newson prevents Stone from improving his position. Stone works his way to full guard. Good work. Newson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stone trying to control the position.
Stone working for a triangle but Newson defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Newson is one step ahead there. Stone trying to control the position.
Newson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jase Newson wasn't active enough on the ground. Stone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newson stuns Stone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A jab from Newson misses. Newson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Newson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Newson. Newson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stone. Stone avoids the body shot from Newson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Newson misses the target. Newson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stone. That did some damage! Newson throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. Newson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stone checks it well. Newson scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stone throws out a loose jab but Newson uses good head movement to avoid it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Newson tries to score with a low kick but Stone moves his leg out of the way. Newson just misses with a punch to the body.
Newson misses with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jase Newson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A solid leg kick lands there for Newson.
Newson looks to throw the jab but Stone is out of range. Newson tries to land a body kick and Stone counters with a takedown into side control. Stone trying to control the position but Newson is working away. Stone throws a strike aimed at the side of Newson's head but Newson avoids it well. Stone working the ground and pound. Newson struggling a bit here. Stone trying to control the position but Newson is working away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Newson regains half guard, as Stone was trying to land strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Newson defending well though. Stone wants to take a breather but Newson is having none of it. Ben Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stone drops an elbow to the side of Newson's head. Stone seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stone is nestled in close to Newson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stone not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stone thows a huge punch but Newson dodges it nicely.
Stone passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Newson! Poor strikes thrown by Stone there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone trying to control but Newson is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Stone. Stone looking to finish Newson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Newson! Stone lands a big elbow. Newson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stone tries to control but Newson wriggling away. Stone lands a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Newson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Stone around the waist but Stone pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Stone is the winner by TKO! Stone jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Stone! An out of breath Ben Stone thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
