Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davor Langerholc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santiago kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Baauer - Harlem Shake. Langerholc comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hypocrisy - Reincarnation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorge Santiago! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Davor Langerholc! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Santiago misses. Santiago scores with a jab. Langerholc acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Santiago tries a low kick but Langerholc avoids it. Langerholc takes a jab right on the kisser.
Santiago is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Langerholc. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Langerholc keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Santiago tries to bum rush Langerholc with a series of wild strikes but Langerholc uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Santiago throws a big shot that misses. A swing and a miss from Santiago. Santiago misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Langerholc.

That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Santiago is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Langerholc wants to control from the top but Santiago keeps moving. Santiago escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Langerholc gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Santiago looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Langerholc passes into side control.
Langerholc advances nicely into full mount. Santiago is looking to get to half guard. Langerholc is landing with some decent strikes but Santiago is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Langerholc with a couple of short strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langerholc wants to control the pace but Santiago is squirming around nicely. Langerholc working Santiago over with strikes here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Langerholc tries to control but Santiago wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Langerholc prevents Santiago from getting the reversal. Langerholc lands a big shot there that rocks Santiago but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Langerholc has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Santiago's face.
Langerholc trying to control but he's not successful this time. Langerholc tries to push Santiago's head away but Santiago is holding on tight. Santiago sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santiago actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santiago is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Langerholc's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Langerholc's back! Santiago had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Langerholc defends it easily. Santiago is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Langerholc is looking to work some ground and pound but Santiago has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jorge Santiago will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Santiago does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Langerholc checks the leg kick. Santiago pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Santiago scores with a jab to the head.

Santiago throws a chopping leg kick but Langerholc manages to avoid taking any serious damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santiago looks to land a left hand but Langerholc moved out of range nicely. Santiago throws a body punch but Langerholc moves out of range. Santiago throws a lazy uppercut
and Langerholc counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Langerholc.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langerholc working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Santiago's head. Davor Langerholc has got the better of the ground game so far. Santiago has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Langerholc is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Santiago. Langerholc lands a nice forearm strike. Santiago tries to bench press Langerholc off him but Langerholc keeps the position. Santiago is working hard here to advance position. Langerholc cracks Santiago with a big elbow. Langerholc connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Santiago some visible discomfort.

Langerholc advances to full mount. Langerholc unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Santiago wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Langerholc celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
