Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yance Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Batts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg - Vato. Batts has chosen Pro-pain - Make war (not love) as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yance Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Batts! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batts with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Batts lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sackett moves into the clinch successfully.
Sackett misses with a knee strike.
Batts unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sackett lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Batts scores a nice knee to the body.
Sackett is breathing heavily. Batts lands a shoulder strike. Batts lands a shot to the body. Batts scores with an uppercut up the middle. Batts letting Sackett take a breather here. Batts with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Batts lands a hook to the side of the head. Sackett tries to stall but Batts uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Batts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sackett has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sackett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sackett swings wildly with an uppercut but Batts uses good head movement to avoid it. Sackett lands with a short head shot on the inside. Batts tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batts lands a knee to the head.
Batts misses with a punch on the inside.
Batts throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sacketts head. Sackett wants a takedown.
Batts misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sackett.
Batts tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Batts tries to land knees in the clinch but Sackett avoids the damage to the body. Sackett pulls guard effortlessly. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Batts trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Batts would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sackett working a defensive guard here.
Batts wants to stand but Sackett is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sackett tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sackett is controlling Batts's posture.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Batts lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Batts jabs at Sackett's body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Batts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sackett sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sackett scores with a jab. A head kick misses from Batts. The fight stays on the outside here - Batts looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Batts walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Billy Batts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett forces Batts back against the cage and clinches. Sackett misses with a hook to the ribs.

Batts lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sackett backwards. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Batts lands a body punch in the clinch. Batts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sackett has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A shot in the inside from Sackett. Sackett is trying to maintain a safe position but Batts gets an underhook and turns Sackett into the cage. Batts lands a hook that snaps the head of Sackett backwards. Sackett lands a body shot in the clinch.
Sackett has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Batts is trying to keep an underhook but Sackett manages to get the takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Batts is trying to maintain the position but Sackett is very close to passing his half guard. Batts is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sackett scores with a couple of nice shots. Batts manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sackett with a flurry of punches that miss. Batts is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sackett defends well. Sackett is working Batts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sackett missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sackett stands up over Batts, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sackett throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Batts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sackett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sackett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sackett working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Billy Batts will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Batts connects with a body shot. The fighters circling - Sackett throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Batts misses with a leg kick and Sackett counters with an outside leg kick.
A shot to the liver by Batts. Beautiful body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sackett. Batts throws a leg kick but Sackett sees it coming and checks it nicely. Batts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sackett was well out of range. Poor timing from Batts. Sackett lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A nice combination there by Batts.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Batts takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Batts tried to score with a low kick but Sackett checks it. Sackett loads up on a big right hand but Batts slips the punch. Sackett shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Batts napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sackett in side control, throwing shots but Batts defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batts being controlled for a moment. Batts is not content to let Sackett control the position. Batts manages to get back to half guard. Sackett throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Batts to regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sackett wants to pass the guard but Batts is keeping the position. Sackett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Batts has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sackett has managed to get both his arms back between Batts's legs - danger averted. Sackett landing with the ground and pound. Batts preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sackett trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sackett with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Batts controls Sackett momentarily but Sackett frees himself. Batts looking for a guillotine here but Sackett defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batts keeping moving, preventing Sackett from controlling successfully. Batts is trying to control the position but Sackett postures up. Batts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sackett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sackett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sackett missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sackett lands a couple of digs. Batts working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Sackett has passed into half guard!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Batts is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sackett pulls his head out easily. Sackett is keen to just control but Batts is a slippery customer. Batts looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sackett throwing shots but Batts is blocking nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sackett wants to pass the guard but Batts is defending well. Batts looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Yance Sackett will probably get the nod. That's time! Sackett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Batts has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sackett is proving hard to escape from. Batts takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

It's preventing any offense from Batts, at least for the moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Billy Batts seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A nice right hand lands inside from Sackett. Batts tries to land a knee to the head but Sackett blocks with his arms.
Batts is pressed up against the cage. Sackett has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Batts down to the mat. Batts avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sackett is looking to land body kicks. Batts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sackett manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sackett slips a jab and a cross from Batts.
Batts gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Batts checks a leg kick. Batts takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. An inside leg kick lands from Sackett. Sackett avoids a punch combination nicely.
Yance Sackett is winning the standup battle so far. Batts throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sackett. Sackett fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Batts to the ground. Sackett is now in Batts's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Batts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sackett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sackett advances position into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Yance Sackett showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sackett has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
