Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Player (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Salwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Player's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pusha T feat. Rick Ross - Millions. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Player has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Salwa finds it's way round the side to connect with Player's head.
Salwa throws a half hearted mid kick.

Player catches Salwa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Salwa throws a solid leg kick but Player takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Salwa.
Gabriel Salwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Player ducks under a wild hook from Salwa.
Salwa takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Salwa closes the distance and clinches up with Player, looking for a takedown. Salwa pushes Player against the cage but Player circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Player swings for the body but Salwa moves out of range.

Player misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gary Player is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Player lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Donk. Salwa catches Player right on the button with a cross.

Salwa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Salwa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Player crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Salwa - the referee stops the clock and Player gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Salwa. Player manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Salwa wants to clinch up but Player keeps it at a distance.
Salwa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Salwa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Player checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Salwa throws a shot from downtown. Player moves away and avoids it.
A slow jab from Player misses its intended target.
Nice sprawl there from Player as Salwa shoots in.

Player uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Salwa.

Salwa tries to close the distance and clinch but Player swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
An inside leg kick lands from Salwa.
Salwa throws a sloppy head kick and Player moves out of range easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Player - that will leave a mark!
Salwa misses with a shot to the body
and Player counters with a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Salwa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Player's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Player looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Salwa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Player looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Salwa clinches with his opponent.
Salwa tries to score a body lock takedown but Player shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Player lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Player lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Salwa backwards.
Salwa can't find room to land a body shot as Player controls the action.
Player scores with a nice hook to the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Salwa.

Salwa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Player's waist but Player gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salwa off to one side.

and Player counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Salwa misses with a kick to the body.
Player moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Player darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Salwa's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Player before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gary Player!
A very excited looking Gary Player made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
