Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Resetivus Morkevicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morkevicius's entrance music is "Don't Trust Me" by 3 Oh! 3. A fine choice. Cain Carwin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Resetivus Morkevicius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Carwin! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin lands a nice hook to Morkevicius's body. Morkevicius takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Morkevicius showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carwin.
Carwin misses with a straight left. Carwin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morkevicius. Carwin thuds his right hand into Morkevicius's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carwin throws a big shot that misses. Morkevicius uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carwin. Carwin drops his shoulder and cracks Morkevicius with a huge uppercut! Morkevicius goes down! Can Carwin finish him?

It looks like Resetivus Morkevicius has been cut. Carwin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carwin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Oh Morkevicius is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carwin wants to control from the top but Morkevicius keeps moving. Morkevicius working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carwin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carwin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Morkevicius seems to have got his legs back now. Carwin wants to pass the guard but Morkevicius is keeping the position. Morkevicius working for a triangle but Carwin defends it easily.

Morkevicius tries to clinch but Carwin is having none of it. Carwin thows a left - swing and a miss! Morkevicius decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Carwin wants to control but Morkevicius is keeping busy and won't allow it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Carwin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Morkevicius kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Carwin thuds his right hand into Morkevicius's forehead from close range. Morkevicius displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carwin throws out the jab. Carwin looks to land a combination but Morkevicius avoids it well. Carwin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cain Carwin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Morkevicius connects with a single shot there. Morkevicius tries to clinch up but Carwin circles away and keeps his distance. Carwin throws a shot from downtown. Morkevicius moves away and avoids it. Carwin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Carwin throws a nice looking combination but Morkevicius bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carwin throws a lazy right hand but Morkevicius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Carwin thows a body shot but no joy. Morkevicius moves out of range of the strikes. Carwin misses with a hook. Morkevicius ducked under it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carwin swings for the body but Morkevicius moves out of range.

Morkevicius thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Carwin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morkevicius. Morkevicius scores a takedown into full mount! Carwin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Nice shot lands for Morkevicius. Morkevicius looks for a takedown but Carwin sprawls well. Carwin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morkevicius moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Morkevicius moves out of range as Carwin strikes. Morkevicius feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Morkevicius works a leg free and moves into half guard. Carwin is looking to control Morkevicius's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carwin avoid being mounted? Morkevicius wants to take a breather but Carwin is having none of it. Morkevicius takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Carwin throws a shot from downtown. Morkevicius moves away and avoids it. Carwin catches Morkevicius with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Excellent takedown into side control there by Morkevicius. Carwin is trying to get back to half guard. Carwin wants to control but Morkevicius postures up. Morkevicius tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Carwin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Morkevicius off and has taken his back!

A jab-cross combination lands for Carwin and sends Morkevicius crashing to the mat! Carwin follows him down to the mat - Morkevicius regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Morkevicius is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Well, if Carwin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morkevicius keeping moving, preventing Carwin from controlling successfully.
Despite being in the dominant position, Cain Carwin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Morkevicius lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carwin backs up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Cain Carwin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carwin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
