Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Carlos Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cinder Smaug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ferreira might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Killers. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira misses with a low kick.
A jab lands there for Smaug.
Ferreira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smaug was well out of range. Poor timing from Ferreira.
Smaug throws a jab when Ferreira was well out of range.
Smaug is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ferreira.
Smaug lands a jab.
Ferreira swings for the body but Smaug moves out of range.
Ferreira walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smaug checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Smaug displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ferreira throws out the jab.

Smaug's corner calls for a 1-2. Smaug obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferreira looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smaug lands with a straight right. Ferreira didn't see that one coming.
Ferreira ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oooooh!!! Smaug has knocked Ferreira down with a huge combo! Smaug steps away and waves a wobbly Ferreira back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Antonio Carlos Ferreira has been cut.
Ferreira thows a body shot but no joy.

Smaug sizes up Ferreira with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ferreira digs a good body shot into Smaug's ribs.
Smaug cracks Ferreira with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smaug has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ferreira to stand back up!

Oh Ferreira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smaug feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferreira's calf.

Ferreira seems to have got his legs back now.
Smaug tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ferreira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ferreira throws a head kick but Smaug moves out of range.
Smaug has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Ferreira fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smaug uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ferreira has time to react.
Smaug lands a big uppercut and Ferreira crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ferreira looks OK. Smaug waves Ferreira back to his feet!

and Smaug counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ferreira's knee momentarily.
Smaug is looking to land body kicks.
Ferreira connects with an inside leg kick.

Ferreira tries to land a front kick but Smaug steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Smaug is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Smaug takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ferreira fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Smaug punishes Ferreira's body with a nice straight punch.
Ferreira looks to land a body kick but Smaug moved away.
Ferreira scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smaug doesn't seem bothered though.
Ferreira loads up on a big right hand but Smaug slips the punch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ferreira.
Ferreira works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ferreira swings for the body but Smaug moves out of range.
Smaug thuds his right hand into Ferreira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ferreira swings away with a body shot that misses
and Smaug counters with a body kick that stops Ferreira in his tracks momentarily.
Ferreira misses with a double jab.
Ferreira is breathing heavily.

Ferreira misses with a looping right.
Smaug wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Smaug tries to work over Ferreira's front leg with a kick but Ferreira checks it.
Ferreira throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ferreira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smaug is fending him off so far but Ferreira persists. Nope, Smaug circles away and we're back to standing.
Smaug has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ferreira misses with a body shot.
Smaug scores with a kick to the body.
Smaug fakes the leg kick and cracks Ferreira in the body.
Smaug scores with a nice head shot.
Smaug scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Smaug with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferreira takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Smaug steps in with a hook that catches Ferreira right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Smaug follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ferreira looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cinder Smaug!
After winning the bout, Cinder Smaug thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
