The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akesson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Spartan avoids the head kick by Akesson.
Akesson connects with a leg kick. Spartan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Akesson blocks a jab.
Akesson throws a sloppy head kick
and Spartan counters with a right hand to the body.
Akesson misses with a few strikes there.
Akesson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Spartan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Akesson.

Akesson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Spartan just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Akesson has gone limp and this one is over!
