Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, The Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sar goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hunter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sar throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like The Hunter has been cut.
Sar avoids a kick to the body.
Sar avoids the body shot from Hunter.
Hunter throws a looping overhand right but Sar ducks down to avoid it.
Sar looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hunter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sar checks a leg kick nicely.
The fighters circling - Hunter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hunter misses with a body kick.
Hunter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sar pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hunter is out of range and Sar settles back down.
A head kick by Sar misses
enabling Hunter to counter with a crisp jab.
Hunter throws a head kick but Sar moves out of range.
Sar is looking to land body kicks.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sar.
Sar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A jab from Hunter misses.
Sar misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sar takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Hunter throws a body punch but Sar moves out of range.
Sar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Saloth Sar has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunter lands a big uppercut and Sar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sar looks OK. Hunter waves Sar back to his feet!
Sar is rocked!
Hunter lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sar up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Hunter from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sar's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Hunter!
The Hunter is the new heavyweight champion!
