Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Invictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Spartan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Invictus comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. The Spartan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Invictus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Spartan!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spartan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Invictus to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Invictus drops back looking for a leg! Spartan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spartan manages to kick Invictus off! Invictus jumps back into Spartan's guard.
Invictus throws a big elbow that misses.

Spartan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Invictus defends well.

Invictus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spartan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Invictus, into his guard.
Invictus is looking to stand up but Spartan isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Invictus is trying to keep Spartan in close.
Invictus is pulling down on Spartan's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spartan is looking to advance position but Invictus has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Spartan tries to lock up and control but Invictus gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Invictus prevents Spartan from getting the reversal.
Invictus controlling the position easily from mount.
Invictus lands a big shot there that rocks Spartan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Spartan taking shots to the head.
Invictus controlling the pace for now.
Invictus trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Invictus with the ground and pound from mount.
Spartan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Invictus looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Invictus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Spartan's face.
Invictus putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Invictus scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Invictus tries to control but Spartan wriggling away.
Invictus breaks from Spartan's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Spartan is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Invictus postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Spartan badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Invictus around the waist but Invictus pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Invictus is the winner by TKO! Invictus jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Invictus!
After winning the bout, Lance Invictus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
