Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danza Kuduro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kuduro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don Omar - Danza Kuduro. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Jones!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuduro connects with a solid leg kick.
Kuduro throws a chopping leg kick but Jones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kuduro takes one to the side of the head.
Kuduro tried to score with a low kick but Jones checks it.

Kuduro lands a big right hand that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Kuduro stays standing though and waves Jones back to his feet!

It looks like Paul Jones has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuduro gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones lands the left hand.

Kuduro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kuduro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kuduro defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kuduro - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kuduro. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kuduro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kuduro's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuduro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kuduro is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kuduro is on top in guard.

We've been informed that Jones has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Jones pulls Kuduro in close to prevent any damage.
Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kuduro is fighting to break Jones's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuduro's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

No joy there for Kuduro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kuduro throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That kick from Kuduro tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kuduro feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Kuduro thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kuduro avoids it really well and circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Jones as he connects with a hook.
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Kuduro sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Kuduro has double underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Kuduro.

The referee is keeping an eye on Kuduro - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kuduro after a bit of a struggle.

Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kuduro circles away quickly and effectively.
Kuduro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kuduro throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Jones crashing down! Jones tries to stagger back to his feet but Kuduro just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Jones asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
