The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Payton pinned against the cage. Payton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Runk wants to clinch up but Payton keeps it at a distance.
Runk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Runk counters with a single leg into guard. Payton didn't expect that.
