The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nkemakolam connects with a body shot that sends Choi's belly button to the back. Choi tries a head kick but it misses.
Nkemakolam uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Choi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nkemakolam throws a good cross that connects.

Perhaps he's looking to stall. Choi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Choi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Choi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Choi working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Good shot there by Nkemakolam. Choi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Choi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nkemakolam throws out the jab. Choi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nkemakolam. That one must have hurt. Nkemakolam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Choi moves away. Nkemakolam avoids the head kick by Choi.
K.J. Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nkemakolam throws a low kick but Choi moves out of range easily. Nkemakolam looks to throw the jab but Choi is out of range. Nkemakolam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Choi.
Choi cracks Nkemakolam with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Choi throws a sloppy head kick and Nkemakolam moves out of range easily. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Choi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nkemakolam has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nkemakolam and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Choi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
K.J. Choi dominated that round. That's time! Nkemakolam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A big right from Nkemakolam misses. Choi lands with a right hand. Nkemakolam scores with a jab to the jaw. Nice combo by Choi! Oh, that's hurt him - Nkemakolam falls to the canvas and Choi follows him into side control.
Nkemakolam is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Choi wants to control but Nkemakolam is keeping him busy. Oh Nkemakolam is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Choi working the strikes but Nkemakolam uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Nkemakolam seems to have got his legs back now. Nkemakolam tries to get to full guard but Choi has control of the leg. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Choi trying to pass the guard but Nkemakolam defending well. Choi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Nkemakolam makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nkemakolam. Nkemakolam keeping moving, preventing Choi from controlling successfully. Nkemakolam trying to control the position.
Choi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jobe Nkemakolam. A looping hook to the body misses from Choi. Nkemakolam does a little dance to reset his feet. Choi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. K.J. Choi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nkemakolam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Choi defends it nicely. Nkemakolam avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

It looks like Nkemakolam has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Nkemakolam misses with a looping right. Nkemakolam is looking to slow Choi down with leg kicks. Choi lands with an uppercut that bounces Nkemakolam off the cage and back into range. Choi throws a head kick that misses. Choi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nkemakolam.

K.J. Choi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Choi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nkemakolam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Choi manages to avoid it. Nkemakolam takes one to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Choi throws a lazy right hand but Nkemakolam sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A head kick misses from Choi. Nkemakolam fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Choi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A jab lands there for Choi. Choi throws a leg kick but Nkemakolam sees it coming and checks it nicely. Nkemakolam throws a sloppy body shot
and Choi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nkemakolam! Choi lands a huge shot from side control! Nkemakolam is out cold! This one is all over!
