Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Hammet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Nile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammet comes to the cage accompanied by Finger Eleven - Slow Chemical. Nile comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Walk Like An Egyptian kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Nile! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammet shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nile defends it nicely. Nile looks to score with a jab to the body but Hammet is just out of range. Nile looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nile pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hammet seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Nile just misses with a punch to the body.
Nile throws a front kick that sends Hammet stumbling back into the cage. A head kick misses from Nile. Hammet tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nile defends well and Hammet ends up having to push Nile into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nile gets underhooks to prevent Hammet's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Hammet. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hammet wants a takedown.
Hammet changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nile fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Nile misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nile fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hammet blocks a head kick by Nile.
King Nile is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hammet walks into a stiff left hand from Nile. Nile fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hammet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nile with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nile clobbers Hammet with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Gordon Hammet has been cut. King Nile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nile throws a sloppy head kick and Hammet counters with a takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hammet wants to control but Nile is keeping him busy. Hammet postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ground and pound from Hammet seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nile is not content to let Hammet control the position. Nile gets back to half guard. Nile is pressing down on Hammet's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nile has his hands on Hammet's head, controlling the position. Hammet won't allow Nile to get back to his feet. Hammet content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hammet drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nile manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hammet has Nile in his guard. Hammet keeping full guard, as Nile tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammet working for a triangle but Nile defends it easily.
Hammet striking off his back but it's not causing Nile any problems.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nile working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nile trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hammet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nile doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nile manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hammet is trying to keep Nile in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Nile dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gordon Hammet's cut. That's time! Hammet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hammet fails with a takedown attempt. Hammet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nile counters with a left to the body. Nile pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gordon Hammet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nile throws a head kick but Hammet moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Nile throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nile lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Nile throws a quick inside leg kick. Nile throws a head kick that misses. Nile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hammet shoots in and drives through. Nile sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Hammet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nile fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nile tries a head kick but it misses.
Nile stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nile scores with a sloppy right hand. Hammet should have avoided that one. Nice sprawl there from Nile as Hammet shoots in. Hammet fails with the takedown. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nile lands a nice shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nile wobbles Hammet with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Nile dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Hammet to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). King Nile! King Nile retains his super heavyweight title! King Nile took some time post fight to say the following; 'King of your face!'.
