Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ichiro Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turd Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takahashi comes into the arena with 暗殺者 blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ichiro Takahashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Turd Anderson! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Takahashi misses. Anderson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Takahashi lands a head kick!
Takahashi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Takahashi tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takahashi throws an overhand right that lands on Anderson's shoulder, as Anderson tries to avoid the shot. A good leg kick by Takahashi. Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. Takahashi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Anderson in his tracks. Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takahashi tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takahashi to the ground. Takahashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anderson moves out of range as Takahashi strikes. Takahashi looks to throw the jab but Anderson is out of range. Anderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This has been an exciting period of action! Takahashi pulls Anderson in close to his closed guard and prevents Anderson from doing any damage or advancing position. Takahashi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Anderson trying to control but Takahashi is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takahashi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Takahashi is on top in guard.
Takahashi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Takahashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Takahashi trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Anderson is trying to keep Takahashi in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Nice uppercut there from Takahashi. Takahashi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Takahashi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Takahashi gets caught napping as Anderson dives in and scores a takedown. Takahashi manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takahashi controlling the position. Anderson trying to control but Takahashi is working from the bottom. Takahashi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Takahashi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Takahashi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Anderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Takahashi's guard. Anderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Takahashi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Anderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Takahashi keeping full guard, as Anderson tries to pass. Anderson passes into half guard. Anderson is looking for a kimura here.
Takahashi tries to roll over but Anderson keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Takahashi manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Anderson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Takahashi gets back to full guard.
Takahashi is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up. Takahashi wants to sweep but no luck. Takahashi seems keen to control Anderson's posture. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Takahashi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard. Takahashi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichiro Takahashi dominated that round. That's time! Takahashi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Takahashi. Takahashi throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily. Takahashi closes the distance and pushes Anderson back into the cage. Anderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takahashi smiles and moves away.
Anderson misses with a body shot.
Takahashi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Takahashi throws a low kick but Anderson avoids it. Anderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Takahashi! Anderson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Anderson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson working away. Takahashi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Anderson's best efforts. Takahashi is concentrating on defense, preventing Anderson from advancing position. Takahashi manages to get to full guard.
Anderson wants to pass the guard but Takahashi is keeping the position. Takahashi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takahashi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Anderson trying to control but Takahashi is working from the bottom. Anderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Takahashi is retaining full guard. Takahashi trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
Anderson pushes down on Takahashi's leg and manages to get into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Anderson wants to control from the top but Takahashi keeps moving. Anderson is looking to advance position but Takahashi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Takahashi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Anderson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Anderson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Anderson is trying desperately to improve position. Anderson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Takahashi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takahashi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Anderson's face.
Takahashi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Anderson working to try and regain half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Takahashi raining down hammerfists from mount. Takahashi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Takahashi.
Takahashi lands a heavy elbow. Takahashi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anderson is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichiro Takahashi dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Anderson thuds a left hand into Takahashi's body. Anderson avoids the head kick by Takahashi.
Takahashi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderson. Ichiro Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takahashi takes a swing at Anderson's ribcage but misses. Anderson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Anderson thows a body shot but no joy. Takahashi stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Takahashi slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Anderson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Takahashi trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takahashi is pressing down on Anderson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Takahashi has his hands on Anderson's head, controlling the position. Takahashi wants to sweep but no luck. Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Takahashi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Anderson is looking to pass into half guard but Takahashi pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Takahashi is in guard. Takahashi wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Takahashi holds on and takes a little breather. Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Takahashi trying to control the position.
Anderson is fighting to break Takahashi's control of his arms but Takahashi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Takahashi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takahashi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Takahashi is trying to keep Anderson in close.

We're going to have a standup here because Ichiro Takahashi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Takahashi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Anderson punishes Takahashi's body with a nice straight punch. Takahashi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Anderson connects with a nice looking jab.
Anderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ichiro Takahashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Turd Anderson. Anderson misses with a body punch
and Takahashi counters by moving into the clinch. Anderson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Takahashi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Anderson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Takahashi just stands there and leans against the cage. Anderson blocking some punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Takahashi misses with an elbow over the top. Takahashi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Takahashi can't find room to land a body shot as Anderson controls the action.

Takahashi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Anderson blocks it with crossed arms. Turd Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Takahashi tries a body shot but Anderson blocks it.
Anderson tries to throw a body punch but Takahashi avoids it by throwing Anderson back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Ichiro Takahashi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Takahashi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
