Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ian McSpeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Frulani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frulani is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 by Coheed and Cambria. Felipe Frulani has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ian McSpeed's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ian McSpeed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felipe Frulani! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frulani gets caught napping as McSpeed dives in and scores a takedown. Frulani manages to retain guard. McSpeed scoring with punches to the head and body. McSpeed trying to control the position from guard on top but Frulani is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McSpeed slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. McSpeed passes into half guard. Frulani is looking to control McSpeed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frulani avoid being mounted? McSpeed working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Frulani's thigh. Frulani counters though and makes it back to full guard. Frulani controls McSpeed momentarily but McSpeed frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frulani keeping full guard, as McSpeed tries to pass. McSpeed trying to control but Frulani is working from the bottom. Frulani manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Frulani trying to control but McSpeed is having none of it. Frulani wants to finish this one by submission but McSpeed is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Frulani. Frulani looking for a guillotine from mount but McSpeed is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McSpeed holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Frulani tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
McSpeed tries to hold on but Frulani pushes him away. McSpeed is looking to get to half guard. Frulani avoids the attempt from McSpeed to control. McSpeed really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Frulani is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but McSpeed is surviving well by controlling Frulani's body position as best he can. Frulani jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… McSpeed is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by McSpeed and Frulani has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McSpeed tries to bench press Frulani off him but Frulani keeps the position. You can see the frustration on McSpeed's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Frulani is trying to ground and pound but McSpeed uses the momentary lack of control by Frulani to regain half guard. Frulani looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McSpeed is holding on to half guard well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frulani trying to control the action but McSpeed is working from the bottom. McSpeed is trying to maintain the position but Frulani is very close to passing his half guard. Frulani is keen to just control but McSpeed is a slippery customer. McSpeed is defending against the submission attempts here by Frulani.
Frulani tries to pass to full mount but McSpeed defends it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Frulani is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McSpeed sees it coming and defends easily. McSpeed tries to roll over but Frulani keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ian McSpeed will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Frulani with a body punch. A glancing blow. Frulani closes the distance and clinches up with McSpeed, looking for a takedown. Frulani pushes McSpeed against the cage but McSpeed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. McSpeed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McSpeed closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Frulani's guard. Frulani is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ian McSpeed overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McSpeed looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frulani is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Frulani prevents McSpeed from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McSpeed is defending against the submission attempts here by Frulani.
McSpeed is looking for a sweep. Frulani is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Frulani wants to work for an arm triangle but McSpeed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Frulani wants to free his trapped foot but McSpeed is holding on for dear life with his legs. McSpeed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McSpeed tries to get out of the position. Frulani is just content to waste time from the top position. McSpeed takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. McSpeed not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frulani in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McSpeed has a closed guard, preventing Frulani from standing up. McSpeed trying to control the position here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Frulani tries to free his leg and advance position but McSpeed is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ian McSpeed just wasn't active enough. A momentary lapse in concentration from Frulani enables McSpeed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Frulani manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! McSpeed postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frulani looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McSpeed throws a strike but Frulani rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frulani wants to control from the top but McSpeed keeps moving. McSpeed had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frulani defends it easily. McSpeed trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Felipe Frulani has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Frulani takes the fight into the clinch. Frulani has McSpeed pressed against the cage.
Frulani jumps into guard, dragging McSpeed to the mat.
McSpeed looking to control the position here, rather than advance. McSpeed working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frulani's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frulani has a closed guard, preventing McSpeed from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ian McSpeed will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Frulani shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Frulani tries to free his leg and advance position but McSpeed is retaining full guard. Frulani got a little sloppy there for a moment and McSpeed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frulani has managed to get both his arms back between McSpeed's legs - danger averted. Frulani trying to control but McSpeed is working from the bottom. Frulani drops back, looking for a kneebar! McSpeed looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McSpeed looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McSpeed! McSpeed tries to stand but Frulani is controlling his head. Frulani is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. McSpeed misses with the ground and pound. McSpeed working away. McSpeed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McSpeed tries to stand but Frulani is controlling his head. Frulani is trying to get back to half guard. McSpeed stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McSpeed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Frulani. Frulani scores with a one two! McSpeed had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. McSpeed darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Frulani is defending against the submission attempts here by McSpeed.
Felipe Frulani has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fighters are battling for position here. Frulani manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ian McSpeed. Frulani goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Ian McSpeed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McSpeed shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Frulani defends it nicely. Ian McSpeed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A head kick misses from Frulani.
And that's the end of the fight! Ian McSpeed showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McSpeed, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
