Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton's entrance music is Stick To Your Guns - Against Them All. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Stapleton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stapleton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bane throws a shot from downtown. Stapleton moves away and avoids it.
Stapleton lands with a kick to the temple. Bane shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Stapleton will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stapleton has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Stapleton looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bane lands a right hand from hell, dropping Stapleton. Bane pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Bane!
After winning the bout, Lucas Bane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
