The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christianson swings widly with a right hand
and Baako counters with a series of strikes. Christianson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Baako moves out of range as Christianson strikes.

Baako tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Christianson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baako takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Baako throws a jab when Christianson was well out of range.

Christianson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Christianson keeps the fight on the outside.
Baako cracks Christianson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Baako takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Christianson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Baako is out of range and Christianson settles back down.
Christianson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Christianson lands with a cross.
Baako throws a hook to the side of Christianson's head but Christianson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Christianson throws a shot from downtown. Baako moves away and avoids it.
Baako takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Christianson cracks Baako with an open hand slap.
A jab from Baako misses.
Christianson scores with a leg kick.
Whack! Christianson lands a heavy head kick that drops Baako. The ref tackles Christianson to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Baako was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Blaze Christianson!
An out of breath Blaze Christianson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Baas Baako spoke after the fight, saying 'That sucked!'.
