Eyj has chosen I'm Sexy and I Know It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis looks to land a right hand but Eyj moved out of range.
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eyj misses with a low kick.
Lewis throws a low kick but it's checked well by Eyj.
Eyj cracks the inside of Lewis's front leg.
Lewis throws a push kick but Eyj slaps the foot to one side.

Eyj fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lewis.

Eyj looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gabriel Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Eyj slips the punch.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Lewis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Eyj can pounce on him.
Lewis throws a hook but Eyj blocks it.

Lewis is looking to slow Eyj down with leg kicks.
Eyj misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Eyj swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lewis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Eyj has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Lewis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Eyj has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've been hearing reports that Lewis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Eyj changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lewis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Eyj is trying to get an arm triangle but Lewis is defending well.

Eyj has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Eyj wants to control the pace but Lewis is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.

Eyj can't control as he wanted to and Lewis manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Eyj is trying to control. Lewis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Eyj is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lewis has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hjalti Eyj dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lewis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lewis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Eyj closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Eyj pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Eyj moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lewis lands with a nice body punch.
Lewis misses with a wild body shot.
Lewis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lewis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lewis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lewis misses with a straight left.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lewis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lewis circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Eyj drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lewis follows Eyj to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
