The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi cracks Llaripukinen with a good jab.
Takahashi lands with a nice body punch.
Llaripukinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Llaripukinen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Takahashi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Takahashi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Llaripukinen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Takahashi scores with a head kick. Llaripukinen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Takahashi looks to score with a jab to the body but Llaripukinen is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Takahashi. Llaripukinen does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Takahashi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Takahashi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Llaripukinen rather than just go for the knockout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takahashi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Llaripukinen's head.
Guntur Llaripukinen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Some bone on bone action there as Llaripukinen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Takahashi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Llaripukinen takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Takahashi throws a leg kick but Llaripukinen checks it.
Takahashi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Llaripukinen throws a jab but it's blocked by Takahashi.
Takahashi drops Llaripukinen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Llaripukinen looks back up at him and smiles so Takahashi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Llaripukinen is rocked!
Takahashi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Llaripukinen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takahashi lands a nice looking body shot.
Takahashi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Takahashi lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Llaripukinen is looking to close the distance but Takahashi sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Llaripukinen crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Llaripukinen is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

A relieved looking Ethelbart Takahashi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
