Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Belleville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belleville comes into the arena with The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid blaring out of the sound system. Kersikov has chosen Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belleville throws out the jab.
Belleville stalks Kersikov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kersikov's face. Kersikov staggers backwards, shaken.
Kersikov connects with a jab.
Belleville tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belleville swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kersikov counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Belleville is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Belleville is trying to hold Kersikov in close to prevent damage but Kersikov has managed to pass into half guard.
Kersikov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kersikov thows a huge punch but Belleville dodges it nicely.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kersikov lands a nice short elbow.
Kersikov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Belleville has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kersikov is working away from the top position though.
Belleville is staying active underneath Kersikov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Belleville wants to improve his position but Kersikov is controlling well.

Kersikov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Belleville's head.
Belleville throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Kersikov manages to pass to side control.
Kersikov has hold of Belleville's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Belleville seems comfortable defending it but Kersikov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Belleville is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Belleville is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kersikov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
