Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Malakai Semerkhet!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Semerkhet.
Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Semerkhet sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Smith jumps guard but Semerkhet stands there with Smith around his waist. Smith gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Smith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Semerkhet pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Semerkhet scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
