Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Howlett!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in for a takedown but Howlett shows good takedown defense.
Howlett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Junior fails with the takedown.
Junior sizes up Howlett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Junior scores with a jab to the jaw.
Junior moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Junior takes a swing at Howlett's ribcage but misses.
Howlett throws a body punch but Junior moves out of range.
Junior uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Howlett.
Junior on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Howlett sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Junior drops his hands momentarily and Howlett takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Howlett is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Junior has hold of one of Howlett's legs. Howlett is fighting the takedown attempt but Junior gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Howlett has his feet on Junior's thighs here. He's pushed Junior off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Junior screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
