Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Fjeldsted (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fjeldsted comes to the cage accompanied by How Deep Is Your Love. King has chosen Supreme court hymn as his entrance music. Renato King is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Fjeldsted!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato King!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjeldsted looks to land a body kick but King moved away.
Fjeldsted leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
King has a takedown stuffed.
We've been informed that King has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
King lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
King thows a body shot but no joy.
Fjeldsted changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fjeldsted throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing.
No luck for King with that takedown attempt.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fjeldsted checks a leg kick.

Fjeldsted connects with a leg kick. King looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fjeldsted makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

King feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fjeldsted is trying to hold King in close to prevent damage but King has managed to pass into half guard.

King is looking to take a break and control but Fjeldsted is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fjeldsted works King's body with a nice hook.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by King.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King avoids a kick to the body.
King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fjeldsted counters with a stiff right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Renato King will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Fjeldsted is looking to slow King down with leg kicks.
King has his takedown stuffed
and Fjeldsted counters with a body kick.
Fjeldsted misses with a low kick.
Fjeldsted slips under a jab.
King scores with a jab to the body.
King blocks a leg kick.
King steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fjeldsted. That one must have hurt.
King chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fjeldsted can pounce on him.
King blocks a head kick by Fjeldsted.
King tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fjeldsted is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Fjeldsted is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
King sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Fjeldsted is trying to control the position but King postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Ivan Fjeldsted wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fjeldsted clobbers King with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
King tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fjeldsted feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to King's calf.
King stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fjeldsted.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! King crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fjeldsted - the referee stops the clock and King gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fjeldsted. King manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fjeldsted misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fjeldsted.
Renato King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut there from Fjeldsted.
Ivan Fjeldsted is winning the standup battle so far.
Fjeldsted throws a leg kick which misses King's front leg but catches the back leg as King tries to avoid it.
Fjeldsted looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fjeldsted takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Renato King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
King misses with a few strikes there.
Fjeldsted throws a body kick that misses.
King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

King avoids the body shot from Fjeldsted.
King will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
King throws a combination that misses
and Fjeldsted counters with a body kick that stops King in his tracks momentarily.
King is breathing heavily.
Fjeldsted clobbers King with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


King is rocked!
Fjeldsted buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Fjeldsted finish him?
Fjeldsted is looking to clinch.
King seems to have recovered his senses.
King walks straight into a right hand from Fjeldsted - that's dropped him! Fjeldsted jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save King from any more punishment! King complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivan Fjeldsted!
During a confident post fight interview, Ivan Fjeldsted thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
