Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yehia Kamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johniel Ocampo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ocampo has chosen Tribute, by Tenacious D as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yehia Kamel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johniel Ocampo! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A slapping body kick lands there for Kamel. Kamel dives in for a single leg takedown but Ocampo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Ocampo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kamel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ocampo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kamel throws out a powerful jab. Kamel looks to throw the jab but Ocampo is out of range. Kamel lands a nice looking body shot.

Ocampo shoots in but Kamel avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kamel looks to land a body kick but Ocampo moved away. Some bone on bone action there as Ocampo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kamel connects with a jab. Kamel connects with the punch. Kamel misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ocampo is out of range. Ocampo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kamel throws a hook to the side of Ocampo's head but Ocampo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kamel connects with a body shot. Nice body kick from Kamel. Crunch! Kamel slams his shin into Ocampo's torso. We've been hearing reports that Kamel has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kamel darts in looking for a takedown but Ocampo gets double underhooks and turns Kamel into the cage. Ocampo tries to pull guard but Kamel won't allow it.
Yehia Kamel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johniel Ocampo. Ocampo is looking to break free of the clinch but Kamel has double underhooks. Kamel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ocampo uses from the top position. Ocampo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ocampo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kamel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kamel is looking for a triangle but Ocampo pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ocampo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kamel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ocampo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kamel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ocampo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Ocampo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kamel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ocampo has managed to get both his arms back between Kamel's legs - danger averted. Kamel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ocampo defends it easily. Kamel keeping moving, preventing Ocampo from controlling successfully. Kamel keeping full guard, as Ocampo tries to pass. Kamel can't keep his opponent in guard - Ocampo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ocampo wants to control but Kamel is keeping him busy. Kamel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kamel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ocampo pulls his head out easily. Kamel looking for submissions off his back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kamel looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nice strikes from Ocampo there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ocampo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kamel is just riding it out for now. Ocampo eventually gives up the hold. Kamel taking some punishment here, with Ocampo in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yehia Kamel dominated that round. That's time! Kamel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Ocampo counters with a shoot takedown. Kamel fights it but they end up in guard. Kamel is looking for a triangle but Ocampo pushes his legs off easily.
Kamel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ocampo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ocampo trying to control the position from guard on top but Kamel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kamel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ocampo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kamel has tightened it up now! Ocampo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
